Advanced Coaches Course

The Advanced Coaches Course is designed for experienced secondary school, college and club coaches looking to build further on their coaching ability.

The Advanced Coaches Course covers the following aspects:

  • Team strategy and game plan design
  • Attacking techniques and methods
  • Defensive patterns and structure
  • Talent identification
  • Performance analysis
  • Position-specific coaching knowledge

Working directly with former and current professional coaches, this course is run in tandem with our Advanced Players Course – which provides coaches a "hands-on" opportunity to put theory into practice with players.

The upcoming Advanced Coaches Course will be facilitated by former All Black and Scottish Rugby Coach Mike Brewer, and current ITM Cup and Fiji Rugby Coach Andre Bell.

Participants on our April course will also have the chance to work 1:1 with former All Blacks Eroni Clarke, Chris Jack, Glen Osbourne, Rodney So'oialo and Ofisa Tonu'u – receiving a deep knowledge of the skills required for each position on the field.

Course fees include all your material, accommodation and food requirements for the duration of the course. Costs of travelling to the course facility are not included.

For New Zealand coaches, there are various avenues available to help support your course fees.

If you have a question, need further information or want to know more about possible funding avenues, please contact us now.
