Practical Coaches Course

The Practical Coaches Course is the shortest in our series of coaching courses. This course was crafted specifically for coaches of all abilities, that want to improve on the fundamental skills of coaching and working with players.

The Practical Coaches Course covers the following aspects:

• Preparation and organisation
  
• Scrum and the tight-five
• Contact, the breakdown and continuity
• Skill analysis
• Lineouts/restarts
• Back attack and counter attack
• Defence from set piece and phase play
• Passing and handling skills
• Vision and decision-making
• Communication
• Mental skills

This course provides an opportunity for coaches of all abilities to observe and interact with a variety of rugby experts.

This is the first course in our series of Coaching Courses. As a 3-day course, there is no better opportunity for Coaches that want to learn hands-on skills and techniques from some of the best rugby minds in the game.

Course fees include accommodation and food. Costs of travelling to the Sport & Rugby Institute are not included.
