Jamason Fa’anana Schultz attended our High Performance Course in February 2019. His journey since has been extraordinary. Named in the USA wider squad for the Pacific Nations Cup and RWC 2019 Jamason recently put on a superb performance for the US Eagles vs Canada.
Fa’anana-Schultz is Australian born and raised but also qualifies for both Samoa and the USA through parentage. He represented Samoa U20 in 2015 after coming through the Queensland Reds academy system and playing for the University of Queensland.
in June 2017, he moved to Auckland, New Zealand and played with the West Auckland Suburbs, helping them to make the Grand Final at Eden Park. He then joined the Auckland in the Mitre 10 Cup. In March 2018 he joined the NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes in Japan’s Top League and now joins the Houston SaberCats in 2019 in Major League Rugby.
Congratulations to Jamason on his journey so far. At IRANZ we’re excited at what he’s been able to achieve since his time with us in February and what the future has to hold for him.
